Smoothies - Instead of painstakingly chopping fruit each time you have a smoothie, chop all the fruit, mix it up, separate it into sandwich bags and put them in the freezer – giving you bags of smoothie mix ready to blend. What’s more, smoothies taste much better and are thicker when the fruit is partially frozen when blended (ideally let the fruit defrost for 1 hour beforehand). Organisation - Finally, if you're really organised, get your dinner out of the freezer before work, set the oven to come on at 17:15 and reheat you're dinner as soon as you get in.
